Returning expat Melissa brings a wealth of film production experience after 14 years of working and raising a family in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Following her studies in fine arts at Escola Panamericana, she swapped her paintbrushes for stage and film production. Since 2010 she has been fine-tuning her creative skills in front and behind the camera. Melissa has worked as an actor, stylist, producer, creative and 1st assistant director. In 2015 she became a permanent fixture at In Good Company Productions [São Paulo] as First Assistant Director, where she worked on a range of fashion + brand films, music videos and high-calibre commercials, from pre to post-production for clients such as Samsung, Natura, Avon, Pantene, Canais Globo, Chilli Beans, Renault & Vivo Communications. With her strong leadership skills, passion for culture and the arts, and mother of two gorgeous humans, Melissa is not afraid to roll up her sleeves to get the job done. When not creating content, she plans her next travel adventure, practising yoga, reading or listening to Bossa Nova. Oh, and she also likes her coffee black.
